RANEPA Forum: "The future is in gender balance"

On December 10, on the basis of the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation (RANEPA), the 1st International Online Forum "Women Leaders: Potential, Opportunities, Success" was held. At the Forum site, Russian and foreign experts, economists, representatives of the business community and public organizations spoke about the need to involve women leaders in management, discussed new trajectories for the development of women's careers in management, finance and technology. The event was curated by the Faculty of Finance and Banking, RANEPA.

The Forum was moderated by Elena Rechkalova, a member of the Boards of Directors, leader of the Women on Boards of Directors community, Deputy Co-Chair of the RSPP Commission on Banks and Banking, lecturer at the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, and CEO of Russian Gold CJSC, Chairman of the Control and Auditing Commission of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Deputy Director of the Center for Development of Financial Competencies and Qualifications of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, Ph.D. Evgeniya Bogatova.

The conference was opened by the rector of RANEPA, Doctor of Economics, Professor Vladimir Alexandrovich Mau: “It is a great honor for us to host this Forum. Today we will discuss the economic benefits of women's leadership, this is not only a socio-ethical problem, but also an important economic factor - gender diversity is essential for economic development.
