Interview with Andrey Poklonsky, member of the Council and Chairman of the Board Of the Russian club of Orthodox patrons
Question: Andrei Antonovich, good afternoon, in April of this year, in the gift of the "Russian club of Orthodox patrons of art" was handed over to the great Shrine. Please tell us more about this.
Alexander poklonsky: Yes, on April 25, a cross and prayer book belonging to the Holy elder Paisius Svyatogorets were donated to the Club of Orthodox patrons from the helladic Orthodox Church. These shrines were given as a gift to the Russian people for the prayerful memory of the Great Elder Paisius, whose prophecies in his last days about the fate of the world show how extraordinarily close our two Orthodox countries Greece and Russia are, and how closely intertwined the destinies of our States are.
Question: Where are these shrines kept, and how can I see them?
A. poklonsky: shrines are kept right in the center of Moscow, in the icon-Painting Workshop "Dimensional Icon" (www.micon.ru), on the territory of the Church of the ascension of the Lord behind the Serpukhov gate, B. Serpukhovskaya str., 24, p.2.
Question: Andrey Antonovich, what miracles happened in the Church these days?
Alexander poklonsky: during the three days that the cross and prayer book are kept in the Church, three miracles occurred, here are two of them:
A man for 18 years hated his father, considering him guilty of all his troubles, accusing the latter of having little time for his offspring.
At the same time, the mother regularly prayed to the Lord for healing the spiritual wounds of her loved ones and, one day, when she came to the Church, she saw the cross of Saint Paisius of svyatogorets. Having applied to him with a sincere request, and on the same day, both their son and father, Saint Paisius appeared in a dream and told them to make peace urgently.
The son was told to call his father urgently; the son called first - and 18 years later for the first time asked his father for forgiveness, and the father said that he too was ready to make a step towards his son..
When they met and began to recall their dreams, they realized that they had simultaneously seen Paisius and that it was he who had put out this long-standing family feud.
And second: the woman was diagnosed with cancer. She came to the Church where, seeing the Cross of Saint Paisius of svyatogorets, she applied to it with a sincere request for recovery. Literally the next day, she passed tests, and, lo and behold, there is no cancer! And this, I emphasize, only for three years of finding the cross of Paisius svyatogorets in an ordinary village Church in new Moscow, in Yakovlev
Question: Andrey Antonovich, what is the next route of travel of shrines in the regions of Russia? Or the cross and prayer book of Saint Paisius will always be kept in Moscow, in the icon-Painting Workshop "Dimensional Icon".?
Alexander poklonsky: the first places where we plan to send the Cross are the Tver and Ufa Dioceses of the Russian Orthodox Church. Now we are printing 10 thousand small, laminated icons with the face of Saint Paisius, which we will distribute free of charge to everyone who wants to touch the Shrines and ask for help from the Saint.also, near the cross and prayer Book, there will always be an Icon of Paisius the Holy mountain, carved from olive wood by monks from mount Athos, the second lot of the mother of God. This icon is unusual - it was worked on for several months by monks from the Cell of Saint Anna, the Orthodox skete of Carulius, belonging to the great Lavra of the Patriarchate of Constantinople. This is a True Miracle of the creation of human hands, controlled by the hands of God.
