EU experience in the production and certification of organic products
The work is carried out in preparation for the entry into force of the Law of the Russian Federation “On Organic Products”. Also, there are tasks of training personnel, product certification, the use of unmanned aerial vehicles to control production, interaction with producers of organic fertilizers (a resource component of bio-production). This was announced by the director of the National Union of Grain Producers (NHA) Andrey Skurikhin in the walls of the International Industrial Academy.
Dr. Aldo Cervi, member of the Board of Directors of the Italian association FederBio, Dr. Aldo Cervi, who visited the Russian Federation at the invitation of the NHA, shared the successful practical experience of Italy and the European Union in the field of organic production: “After preparing the documents requested by the certification body, several product inspections are carried out sequentially. A certificate of compliance is issued at the end of the conversion period. ”
Particular attention was paid to the choice of places for growing the crop, as well as to the collection rules and storage conditions.
Organic production popularized by the Union is not aimed at a massive transition from traditional to organic farming. This process, to a greater extent, involves an individual approach, targeted production for a specific order. This position, of course, determines the success of the implementation of this project - guaranteed sales with consistently high profitability. Foreign experience shows that, for example, in Italy, the production of organic products occupies no more than 15.5% of the total area of cultivated agricultural land.
